An energy performance certificate of the building must be available to purchasers and/or tenants.
Spanish law
RD 47/2007 – (pdf)
All buildings of recent construction and those buildings larger than 1.000 sqm. subject to major works comprising more than 25% of the total building closings must have an energy performance certificate.
RD project on Energy Performance of Existing Buildings – (pdf)
Expected approval: 1rd. Quarter 2010. An energy performance certificate will be compulsory for all existing buildings.
